Process Digitalization
The digitization of processes does not only mean that tasks that were previously done manually are now done digitally and automatically. It is that, but it is much more. Si no se fija una estrategia adecuada donde el foco este en el usuario del servicio y en la gestión de los datos, es difícil que se adopte un nuevo modelo de gestión digital. Therefore, in order to plan such a project properly and to make it successful over time, it is necessary to start with a thorough analysis of the processes and their adaptation to digital models.
At Delonia, process digitalization and digital transformation always go hand in hand. It is true that digital transformation goes beyond simple processes, as it implies a total change in the way a company operates, but it is an essential step that must be carried out. if change is not to be limited to the adoption of technologies not always adapted to the real needs of the company or to its moment of digital maturity.
Service lines in digitalization of processes and digital transformation
Our vision
Our job is to advise our clients realistically and sensibly, but also ambitiously, so that progressive digital transformation processes can be implemented. The aim is that they are successful in each of their implementation phases and that they are sustained over time.
From experience we know that changing the way a company works in all the complex processes that make it up is difficult and requires vision, commitment, and perseverance. The starting point is essential because the important thing is not to achieve immediate changes but decisive changes based on solid foundations and with the most appropriate technologies for each scenario.
We base the work plan of the digital transformation consultancy projects on four steps that are always documented: Analysis of the client’s starting situation, to find out where they are and what level of digital maturity they have. Depending on the starting point, we help you decide where you want to go. We specify each of the steps to be taken to make this journey and the technological resources we will use. We set out from the starting point what the final result should be.
1. Initial analysis
Before undertaking any software development work, it is essential to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the business,to see which operations can be based on analogue processes and which must be digitized.
All information obtained will be documented, including the design of the processes. For process modelling we use different tools such as Bizagi, Adonis or Flokzu.
3. Action plan
We will develop a work strategy based on the definition of requirements and the description of the functionalities to be adopted to cover the objectives set. This functional analysis will precede the technical analysis. The work will always be collected in Functional Analysis and Technical Analysis documents, which will not, however, be closed documents.
We base our work on SCRUM principles with incremental development in short time blocks and constant interaction with the client.
2. Target setting
It is better to do a little that is very effective and allows the solution to grow progressively than to propose major transformations that require a lot of resources in the short term. To do this, it is necessary to decide which aspects are strategically decisive and most valuable, which software developments must be undertaken and which technological solutions must be adopted.
The key to any proposal will lie in proper data management, in proposing solutions that allow self-management by customers with highly usable systems and in the integration of new systems with existing ones.
4. project development and measurement of results
Before the implementation of the work plan, the aspects that must be measured will be specified to verify that the solution that we are going to implement is successful. Incorporating measurement and improvement capabilities is a priority.
The iterative work will be parallel to constant functional testing to ensure that the project is progressing according to the objectives set. The development of the process is based on the service detailed in the Quality and Improvement Service.
